Why Is Garret Graves Against Consumer Protection?

As the owner of a RE/MAX franchise, my duty to all Buyers and Sellers, under the rules and regulations of the Louisiana Real Estate Commission, is to protect those consumers with the tools at my disposal.    When a "major mortgage company" attempted to disrupt a sale on one of our listings I notified the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau [CFPB] (Click Here for Complaint Response) Special thanks to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) for answering my complaint against "a major mortgage company".

Not only were we able to move toward an Act of Sale and the debt was paid off, but the Sellers were able to avoid a foreclosure which would have ruined their credit.

As you can see, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) mortgage rules protect borrowers and make it easy for them to get the help they need.

Why did Garret Graves co-sponsor a Bill to get rid of CFPB protecting borrowers against BIG BANKS: http://1.usa.gov/1UsrKGx
